Signed with the monogram in the plate. There was no published edition of this etching; the only impressions pulled were a few proofs which constable gave to friends and to his family. Printed on Chine-collé on wove paper.

Second state as completed, with the birds in the sky and the monogram.

One of only two or possibly three etchings which were entirely executed by Constable – his other prints all being mezzotints created in conjunction with David Lucas.
