Signed, dated and numbered by the artist in pencil. From the edition of 95, there were also 22 proofs. Printed at the Atelier Desjobert in Paris and published by Petersburg Press.
The image was taken from a 1965 coloured pencil and graphite drawing by Hockney entitled 'cubist tree'. The motif of the cubist tree was further explored in 'Tree with Grass' of 1968 which was reproduced on Hockney's 1968 poster for the 1st British International Print Biennale' held at the Bradford City Art Gallery.
