It is interesting that the features of the house chosen by Roussel for emphasis in his print are also those noted by Nicholas Pevsner (in The Buildings of England, London, Except the Cities of London and Westminster, p.95) in his description of No.4 Cheyne Walk. He describes the "good iron work" and doorway characteristic of the time of George I.
