Printed on laid paper in olive brown ink. Signed in pencil in the tab lower left. From the edition of approximately 31 impressions. Trimmed to the platemark by the artist.
The use of olive brown coloured ink is reminiscent of James Mcneil Whistler's Venice etchings, which he made 10 years earlier.
An inscription on the mount of an impression sold at Christie's, London, April 13th, 1989, identified the location of the house as 'the Corner of Gunter Grove,' a street near Roussel's home on Burnaby Street.
